Winemakers Comments
Fruit from the 40-year-old Patterson vineyard was conveyed straight to the winery to retain the freshness of flavour inherent in the grapes. A period of 17 months maturation in a blend of new and used French oak followed. Light filtration was done prior to bottling to enhance the clarity of the wine.
