For 2023 Rouleur Chardonnay Rouleur ventured beyond the familiar Yarra Valley to craft their first Chardonnay from a remarkable vineyard perched at nearly 900 meters elevation on the Whitlands High Plateau. Despite a cool and mild vintage, the grapes thrived, delivering pristine fruit that was meticulously hand-sorted and gently pressed. The wine showcases vibrant notes of grapefruit, lime, and white florals, balanced by a tangy acidity and harmonious interplay of fruit, oak, and malolactic nuances. Still evolving, it promises further complexity and depth with time.
