Megala Monastrell Tempranillo Marselan 2022 is a vibrant and expressive Mediterranean red blend from Bodegas Enguera, crafted in Spain’s sun-drenched Valencia region. In the glass, Megala Monastrell Tempranillo Marselan 2022 reveals a deep ruby colour with bright purple reflections, hinting at its lively fruit character. The aromatic profile is inviting and layered, opening with generous notes of ripe blackberry, plum, and red cherry. These vibrant fruit aromas are complemented by subtle hints of warm spice, dried Mediterranean herbs, and gentle earthy undertones that add complexity and regional character.

On the palate, Megala Monastrell Tempranillo Marselan 2022 is medium to full-bodied with a smooth and balanced structure. Juicy dark fruit flavours unfold across the palate, supported by soft, integrated tannins that give the wine a rounded and approachable texture. Tasting Notes

Aroma: Floral aromas predominate, aromas of carnation, roses, aromas of Mediterranean forest, garrigue, juniper and thyme. The oak is very well assembled and does not dominate the wine.

Appearance: Deep red.

Palate: Great fruitiness, ripe plum. Very elegant finish, sweet tannins, well polished. Toasted from the wood reminiscent of aromas of chocolate, cocoa, liquorice. Well balanced, good acidity. It evolves favourably in the bottle, compoting the fruit, developing liquorice aromas, polishing the tannin even more. A great wine!
