The name’s a bit of a mouthful so Jules just calls it Grüner. She also describes this cool climate Austrian variety as “Imagine the illegitimate lovechild of Riesling and Pinot Gris – what’s not to love?”. Layered and creamy with softened acidity and nutty nuances, this wine has delicious lemon, white peach and green apple flavours and dry palate. Take Jules’ advice and give Grüner a go.
