The wine is a luminous crimson with a ruby hue and has an immediately appealing, lifted bouquet of red & blue fruits, complemented by notes of vanilla, cinnamon & liquorice. Medium-bodied in weight, with a smooth, silky mouthfeel & bountiful berry fruit flavours. Tannins are very fine; the finish persistent, balanced & satisfying. A fine match to lamb shanks with olives & red wine, or herbed stuffed Portobello mushrooms
