Winemakers Comments
Great vintage to make Crianza wine in Enguera. Summer was extremely hot and dry. It was necessary to irrigate the vineyard very often to keep it in good condition. Cold nights from mid-August ahead made it possible to obtain a very well riped, elegant tannin. These Monastrell and Tempranillo grapes (60% Monastrell 40% Tempranillo) come from the shadow blocks of our Finca Antolí, in the mountains of Enguera. The deep, frank-clay soils (red clay), rich in organic matter, form the terroir of this unique vineyard. The yield was high, 5kg/vine.
